This creates a unique, small community-based learning environment for students, at this important turning point of their adolescence."
The key focus for students in Year 9 is to develop their independence, resilience and take responsibility for their own learning. Choosing from a range of electives that aim to build the whole person, students are provided with opportunities to develop an understanding of their strengths and interests as learners.
Students learn to become active and conscientious members of a dedicated learning community through reflection, mutual discovery, acknowledgement of spirituality and connection with the wider community. This allows them to find their place in the world and begin the transition into adulthood.
